Anurag Kashyap’s Twitter war with KRK is unintentionally funny. Wahiyat Wednesday - India Today
Kamaal Rashid Khan, known as KRK, is infamous for his Twitter wars. From superstar Salman Khan to comedian Kapil Sharma, the self-proclaimed actor-critic has had ugly feuds with many celebrities. KRK also targeted Bombay Velvet director Anurag Kashyap back in 2015. While most celebs ignore his nasty tweets, Anurag gave it back to KRK. In this week's Wahiyat Wednesday, we revisit their strained Twitter history.
WHEN KRK TARGETED ANURAG KASHYAP'S BOMBAY VELVET
KRK is always in the news for all the wrong reasons. He raked up a controversy in 2015 when he went all out on Twitter and declared that he will not review films anymore as Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap had threatened him. KRK tweeted, "I have not reviewed any film this week because Karan Johar n Anurag Kashyap threatened n asked me to not review any film anymore (sic)."

Another tweet by him read, "Dear people I know that you all want honest reviews of films but I am really scared of Karan Johar n Kashyap so can't review at any cost (sic)."

ANURAG KASHYAP'S SOLID RESPONSE TO KRK
While Karan Johar stayed mum at the allegation, Anurag did not mince his words while reacting to KRK's obnoxious tweet. The filmmaker wrote, "For the record I have nothing to do with Mr KRK stopping to review films, I think he is ***t scared that he will have to eat his words ...1 (sic)."

His follow-up tweet read, "So he blames it on me, because it's also easy to believe that I must have done it. There are genuine reviewer who give bad reviews ..2 (sic)."

Anurag also had a message for KRK in the end:
To a lot of my work and I respect that. You are just insignificant Mr KRK.Maybe you have lost u'r mojo&they don't enjoy laughing at u anymore

KRK went on to upload screenshots of messages he apparently had received from Karan Johar. He claimed that the messages initially threatened him for a good Bombay Velvet review and later offered him a bribe for it.
Even though Anurag Kashyap and KRK's fight was dialled down, it never really died. In 2019, KRK again targeted Anurag's way of making films and web series. "Frustrated in life, director Anurag Kashyap knows only 4 things to use in a film or web series. 1) Abuses 2) Sex 3) Alcohol and Drugs 4) Murders! So just imagine how dark is his real life (sic)," KRK wrote.

ANURAG KASHYAP'S REACTION WHEN KRK TWEETED 'REST IN PEACE' FOR HIM
Anurag Kashyap had an applause-worthy response when the official Twitter handle of Kamaal R Khan's entertainment website tweeted that he had died. In his sarcastic tone, Anurag wrote, "Kal Yamraj ke darshan hue. Aaj Yamraj khud ghar vapas chhod ke gaye. Bole - abhi to aur filmein banani hain tumhe (Saw Yamraj yesterday. He himself dropped me home today. He said, you have to make more films)." He further took a dig at KRK and continued, "Tum film nahi banaoge aur befkuf/bhakt uska boycott nahi karenge to unka Jeevan sarthak nahi hga. Unko sarthakta mile isliye vapas chhod gaye mujhe (If you don't make films and fools/devotees don't get to boycott it, then their lives would be meaningless. To give their lives a purpose, he left me behind)."
KRK Box Office had tweeted a fake death story about Anurag and added, "#RIP #AnuragKashyap! He was really a great storyteller! We will always miss you sir (sic)!"

You might be wondering how KRK's Twitter account is still operational. Well, once his Twitter account was suspended after he slammed Aamir Khan's production, Secret Superstar, and revealed its climax. He threatened to go to court and die by suicide in the aftermath.
In a statement, he wrote, "I request @TwitterIndia and staff Ms Mahima Kaul, Viral Jani and Mr Taranjeet Singh to restore my account within 15 days. 1st they did charge me millions of rupees and then suddenly suspended my account. So am depressed because they have cheated me. If they won't restore my account, then I will commit suicide and all these people will be responsible for my death (sic)."

Now, KRK is the king of tweeting rubbish about people and unintentionally making fun of himself each time, right?
